Forward Bank Tops $2.8 Million in Community Giving

Traci Geiger, Jessica Lopez, Bianca Devora-Galan, Gary Schraufnagel, Jason Lindeman, and Teri Rachu from Forward Bank present a $8,761.53 donation to the School District of Abbotsford in recognition of their participation in the CMMA program.

Forward Bank’s Charitable Money Market Account (CMMA) program continues to create meaningful support for local non-profits. In 2025, the program generated more than $305,000 in donations, helping over 520 organizations across the communities Forward serves. Since the program began, Forward has provided more than $2.8 million in total CMMA donations, demonstrating how Forward customers can support local causes.

The Charitable Money Market Account (CMMA) gives customers a simple way to support the causes they care about while earning interest on their savings. When customers open a CMMA, they can choose a non-profit to receive an annual donation from Forward Bank, at no cost to them. The donation is based on the account’s average balance, so as savings grow, support for the selected organization grows as well.

“This program is a great example of what community banking can accomplish,” said Lindsey Safford, Non-Profit Banker at Forward Bank. “Our customers appreciate having a simple way to support the organizations they care about, and these donations make a meaningful difference for local non-profits. We are thankful for the continued support from our customers and look forward to helping this program grow in the years ahead.”
