Forward Commits $100,000 to Lake City Scoreboard Project
Forward Bank is supporting the Lincoln High School Digital Scoreboard project and their efforts to bring an ongoing curriculum that demonstrates a creative career path for students.
When fully complete, this initiative is designed to equip students with hands-on experience in live game operations, providing them with skills that can translate into college work-study opportunities and professional careers in sports media and entertainment. The athletes, community, and fans can enjoy the state-of-the-art boards bringing the game experience to the next level.
“This program goes beyond enhancing our athletic experience—it’s about investing in the future of our students,” said Trevor Narum, Activities Director/District Assessment Coordinator at Lake City Public Schools. “By integrating technology with firsthand learning, we’re giving students the tools to work through college and even enter the professional sports industry.”
“We applaud the vision of those at the school for making this happen and appreciate being part of your story,” stated Jeff Coats, SVP of Forward Bank. “We know schools are the backbone of a healthy, thriving community. They shape our future leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators. That’s why we’re proud to invest in this project.”
