Holstrom Earns Bank Award for Outstanding Service

Kirsten Holstrom recently received the 2021 Mary L. Staudenmaier WINGS (Worthy Individual Noted for Generous Service) Award. This award was named in honor of The Stephenson National Bank & Trust’s (SNBT) former-chairman and long-time president. The award epitomizes Holstrom’s steady participation in public service for the community.

“We are pleased to give this award to Kirsten. She has shown a true devotion to serving the community, and we appreciate the time and dedication she has put into volunteering,” said Daniel J. Peterson, SNBT president and CEO. “It has been appropriately named in honor of Mary Staudenmaier, who demonstrates the importance of serving our area through endless community involvement of her own.”

Holstrom, loan operations coordinator in Marinette since 2020, was presented with the WINGS Award in recognition of her remarkable level of community service. She pledged 495 volunteer hours to multiple local organizations, which include the Rainbow House, CASA of Menominee County, St. Vincent De Paul, Abundant Life Mission, and Haircuts for the Needy. She also donates her time to gift drives, coat drives, sponsored events, and many sports organizations in the community.

To recognize her dedication to serving, Holstrom received the WINGS plaque, and her name and photograph have been added to the WINGS display in the Marinette Office. In addition, the bank has made a $500 contribution in her name to CASA of Menominee County in Menominee, MI.

As a loan operations coordinator with over eight years of experience in lending, Holstrom primarily focuses on software applications administration, reporting functions and designing and administering systems and procedures, while also introducing customers to other bank products that may help their financial futures. Holstrom resides in Menominee with her husband, Chris Holstrom, and their two children
