Horicon Bank is pleased to announce that Cyrene Wilke has been promoted to chief information officer of the bank.
Wilke brings 27 years of community banking experience to her role as CIO at Horicon Bank. She joined Horicon Bank in December as operations officer, SVP and managed the bank’s information services department.
Along with her extensive financial experience, Wilke is a graduate of both the Graduate School of Banking’s Digital Banking School and the Center for Exceptional Leadership at St. Norbert College. Wilke has served as a board member for the Risk Management Association of Wisconsin, participated in a national Fiserv advisory council, and is an active member of Alloy Labs Alliance, routinely advising other financial institutions on financial technology, process improvement, products, and services.
Wilke says she enjoys using technology to improve the community banking experience. “I’ve had the opportunity to focus on nurturing an innovative culture and use of technology to improve both the customer and employee experience,” said Wilke. “I’m excited to lead a team that continues to innovate community banking. At Horicon Bank, our culture and willingness to support investments in modern banking technology set us apart.”
President Fred F. Schwertfeger congratulations Wilke on the promotion. “Cyrene’s skills are a great asset to our banking team,” said Schwertfeger. “At Horicon Bank, we strive to be relationship bankers who care about our customers and associates. I believe Cyrene does just that.”
