Ixonia Bank Promotes Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President

Dennis Sampson, Director of Commercial Lending, promoted to EVP

The Board of Directors for Ixonia Bank are proud to announce the promotion of Dennis Sampson to Executive Vice President and Director of Commercial Lending at Ixonia Bank. Dennis has also joined the Key Leadership Team, and is active member with the Bank’s Strategic Planning Committee.

Over the last couple years, Ixonia Bank has welcomed five new commercial bankers and two experienced treasury management professionals to the team, and Dennis has excelled in integrating them into the fabric of Ixonia Bank’s culture. The results have been impressive, with Ixonia Bank growing its loan portfolio by over 20.5% in 2023 and 16.3% in 2024.

Dennis’ lending expertise encompasses both commercial real estate and commercial / industrial loans. His specialties also include providing financing and leasing for service and technology-focused businesses and manufacturers. He is also well-versed in complete treasury management solutions including the latest fraud protection solutions for business. Additionally, he has excellent credit skills, and is also strong at new business development.

Dennis Sampson joined Ixonia Bank in June 2017 as Senior Lender. Dennis has over 35 years of commercial banking experience and leads the Bank’s commercial lending group’s growth and the Bank’s continuing focus on providing a high level of service and responsiveness. In 2024, he was recognized by BizTimes Media as a Notable Commercial Banking Leader. Prior to joining Ixonia Bank, Dennis was Executive Vice President at a large Midwestern business bank where he worked exclusively with business clients for nearly 20 years. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has served in command positions in the U.S. Army Reserves.
