Ixonia Bank is pleased to announce it has added Steve McGuire to its strong commercial banking team as the newest senior vice president of commercial lending.
Though he is the newest to the Ixonia Bank team, he is not new to the banking industry. McGuire brings over 40 years of commercial banking experience. Most recently, he held the position of Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate (CRE) market manager for a national bank. Prior to that he was executive vice president at a prominent regional bank, managing all aspects of CRE lending in the state of Wisconsin.
“Steve is widely viewed as one of the best, if not the best, commercial real estate lenders in the Wisconsin market and has an excellent track record with real estate investors,” said Greg Larson, CEO of Ixonia Bank.
McGuire adds “I chose to join Ixonia Bank in order to get back to my roots in community banking. Local decision making under the leadership of my long-time friend and colleague, Greg Larson, made this an easy decision.”
McGuire has recently served as a board member of the Milwaukee Development Corporation and a member of the Programs Planning Committee of the Commercial Association of Realtors – Wisconsin. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Women’s Care Center of Milwaukee and is a board member and treasurer of Dismas Ministry. He earned his B.A. in accounting from North Park College and an MBA from DePaul University.
McGuire and his wife, Ruth, reside in Mequon. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his five grown children and their families.
Steve is based out of the Bank’s Downtown Milwaukee office located at 611 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53202.
