Miller Elected to First State Bank Board of Directors

First State Bank officials announced the election of Melanie Miller to the bank’s board of directors on September 26. Miller is a retired finance executive with 27 years of experience with global manufacturing companies, including more than 18 years as vice president and treasurer of Bemis Company. Prior to that, she spent seven years in public accounting at KPMG Peat Marwick in Stamford, Connecticut.
Miller currently serves as the treasurer and vice chair of the Board of the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region and as chair of the Foundation’s Audit and Budget Committee. She is also a member of the Finance Committee of United Way Fox Cities and serves on the Audit and Corporate Responsibility Committee of ThedaCare and the Audit Committee of Tri-County Dental Clinic.
