North Shore Bank Helps Raise Funds for Community Member Battling Cancer
North Shore Bank, celebrating its centennial anniversary, has announced the bank is holding a community free coin counting fundraiser to help mother of four, Breana Pickard, combat stage four pancreatic cancer.
Beginning July 10 to July 29, 2023, the public can stop by the North Shore Bank branch in Pulaski to count coins for free and donate all of or a portion of the coins to the fundraising effort to support Pickard. North Shore Bank is starting the fundraiser with a $100 donation.
“For the past 100 years, our community has been at the forefront of our business and that means stepping up when they need us most. When we heard about Breana’s story, we wanted to do what we could to support her, her family, and friends, and the community,” said Katie Longsine, Pulaski branch and community engagement manager at North Shore Bank. “Now is the time to clean out those piggy banks and bring in loose coins floating around your house to support the Pickard family.”
All the donations will go towards covering Pickard’s medical expenses and assist with the family’s needs while she undergoes treatment.
