One Community Bank Expands Support to Just One International

One Community Bank (OCB) is thrilled to announce a donation of $40,800 to Just One International. These funds will support their Brighter Future Campaign and scholarships for two students. Just One International is a nonprofit dedicated to breaking cycles of poverty through educating the next generation of leaders in Honduras.

“We feel incredibly fortunate to continue to invest in Maddie and her team at Just One International,” said Steve Peotter, President and CEO. “The success that Just One International has had to impact the lives of scholars in Honduras has been inspirational.”

The Brighter Future Campaign will support a two-year campus buildout to expand its current outgrown facilities and provide more space to welcome new students. The new facility will include an education wing, tech school, workshop, public parks, and more. For several years, One Community Bank has proudly supported their “Advocate for a Scholar” program. This program helps provide the resources students need to pursue their education and we are pleased to continue this support.

“We’re working to get kids through high school and college in Latin America, where that is not normally possible, and OCB has been a huge part of that,” said Maddie Trncic, President and CEO of Just One International. “We are so thankful for One Community Bank, and all they have done to support our programming.”

OCB is proud to invest in communities and continue to support this feel-good organization. Visit Just One International’s website to discover more about their Brighter Future Campaign.
