One Community Bank: One Community Bank Matches Donations Up to $50,000 for New Oregon Splash Pad
Dedicated to investing in its communities, One Community Bank is proud to announce a $50,000 donation match to the Oregon-Brooklyn Optimists Club and Oregon School District for their campaign to build a splash pad in Oregon, WI. The Oregon Splash Pad will provide free, accessible fun for individuals of all ages and abilities, while serving both the Oregon community and surrounding areas.
“This splash pad will be a valuable enhancement to our community,” said Steve Peotter, President and Chief Executive Officer. “One Community Bank is proud to support an initiative that will bring families and neighbors together to make lasting memories for generations to come.”
The Oregon-Brooklyn Optimists Club and Oregon School District recently received a $315,000 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. While this grant makes significant progress toward the project’s goal, additional support from the community is needed to reach the finish line.
“Together, we have the opportunity to create a splash pad and a community space for everyone to benefit from,” said Margaret Straub of the Oregon-Brooklyn Optimists Club. “We are incredibly grateful to One Community Bank and everyone who has contributed so far. We’re so close to reaching our goal and are excited to see the community come together to help us bring this campaign to a close.” “This splash pad is becoming a reality thanks to One Community Bank, the Oregon-Brooklyn Optimists Club, and so many other dedicated community members,” said Leslie Bergstrom, Oregon School District Superintendent. “We’re committed to creating a space where kids, families and community can come together, and are excited to begin this project.”
All donations to the campaign should be made by January 1, 2025. Through the end of this campaign, One Community Bank will match donations made up to $50,000. Currently, an extra $150,000 is still needed to complete the splash pad. To learn more about the Oregon Splash Pad project and how you can help, visit oregonsplashpad.com.
