Peoples Hires Dustin Dietel

Peoples State Bank has announced the hire of Dustin Dietel as branch manager of its soon-to-open Stevens Point location. Dietel will lead the retail operations and staff, assisting customers with their personal banking needs.

“I’m excited about being at the beginning of this full-service banking effort in the greater Stevens Point area,” said Dietel. “Peoples has a great reputation in north-central Wisconsin, and expanding what has been a successful loan production office into a full-service branch is the next step in serving Stevens Point and its surrounding communities.”

Dietel joins Peoples with over five years of banking experience, mainly in the branch manager role. In that role, Dietel guided personal banking teams to assist and educate customers on the products that could help them with their unique financial situation.

“Dustin’s background in banking points to a focus on customer service that fits naturally at Peoples,” said Jeffrey Saxton, Peoples State Bank vice president, retail sales and service. “Dustin’s experience will be extremely beneficial as we transition our loan production office to a full-service branch.”

Peoples is in the final stages of remodeling the loan production office at 138 McDill Avenue, near the intersection with Post Road. Peoples expects the full-service branch to be open sometime in early July, with a ribbon-cutting and grand opening planned for mid-July.
