Peoples State Bank: Peoples Announces Employee Promotion and New Hire

Wausau, Wis.

Peoples State Bank promotes David Bednarski to vice president and mortgage team leader in the southeastern market. In addition, Peoples announces the hire of Melissa Karcher as vice president and mortgage team leader of the bank’s central market.

Bednarski joined Peoples earlier this year with more than 25 years of mortgage lending experience, primarily in southeastern Wisconsin. “Dave is experienced and well-positioned to lead this ambitious mortgage team,” said Jeffrey Saxton, Peoples State Bank vice president and retail group leader. “We’re confident he will be a significant addition in this leadership role while supporting the growth we’re experiencing.”

Melissa Karcher joins Peoples with extensive mortgage lending experience and is well-known and respected in the Wausau area mortgage market. “Melissa’s sound business development approach, combined with her 20-plus years of experience in this business, will undoubtedly enhance the Peoples team,” said Saxton.
