Port Washington State Bank Hosting Community Food Drive and Promoting Financial Literacy
To celebrate the connections between local businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, and families and their hometown community bank, Port Washington State Bank (PWSB) is recognizing National Community Banking Month and National Financial Literacy and Capability Month.
“We are proud to be a part of the strong, vibrant Ozaukee County community,” said James Schowalter, president and COO of PWSB. “This coming April, we are once again taking the opportunity to show extra appreciation for this great place to live, work and play.”
PWSB is proud to serve our community year-round, and some of the activities the bank will be engaging in include a community food drive at all eight branches from April 1-26, where we’ll donate $1 for each pound of food or personal items collected, up to $1,000. Bankers are also visiting over 60 local area schools to share financial education messaging with over 1,100 students throughout the month.
