Prevail Bank Announces Two Promotions and a New Hire

Tina Dassow
Tina Dassow is Prevail Bank’s new assistant vice president – mortgage loan originator (APV – MLO) in Medford. She has over 10 years’ experience in insurance and mortgage services, with the most recent two as the Prevail Bank’s lead mortgage loan assistant where she was the assistant to previous Medford-based MLOs. She prepared all the files needed before underwriting and acquired all necessary documents and customer information needed to close a mortgage loan without issue.
“Tina is very familiar with the mortgage loan process, mortgage options, and the documents needed to close a loan effortlessly,” said Brent Arndt, senior vice president – mortgage manager for Prevail Bank. “Her organization, attention to detail, and over 20 years’ experience in customer service spells success for Prevail Bank and her customers.”
“I really enjoy working with people and look forward to helping them achieve their home goals,” said Dassow. “Finding solutions is what I do best.”
Dassow is a natural problem solver. She, her husband, and two daughters, enjoy GEO Caching throughout the state of Wisconsin.
“I would describe GEO Caching as finding treasures in the woods,” said Dassow. “It’s fun!”
Other activities she’s actively involved in include the Medford Youth Soccer Association, Girl Scouts, Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church (she is their treasurer.), and fishing.

Dejonna Bates
Dejonna Bates is Prevail Bank’s new branch manager in Stevens Point. She has 10 years’ experience in account management and building customer relationships, with an emphasis on managing an assortment of financial services in the last four.
“Dejonna has been a relationship banker with Prevail Bank for the last two years,” said David Johns, chief retail officer. “Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and years of customer service are invaluable. I can’t wait to see her accomplishments.”
“I am excited to be a resource for my team and customers,” said Bates. “My goal is to exceed expectations.”
Bates grew up outside of Plainfield, where her parents owned and operated a small hobby farm. She admittedly enjoys the small-town life and recently purchased a home in Amherst. With her boyfriend, Brandon, she enjoys working on the new house, kayaking, playing with rescue dogs Parker and Lola, and spending time with family.

Tammy Schueller
Tammy Schueller is Prevail Bank’s new branch manager in Marshfield. Her leadership skills and years of experience include project management, issue resolution, outreach initiatives, and financial management and reporting.
“Tammy brings a wealth of experience, especially in the realm of staff management, improvement, and customer relations,” said Johns. “I can’t wait to see what she will accomplish as our new branch manager.”
“I know I made a great career decision by joining Prevail Bank,” said Schueller. “Prevail’s values align with mine. I enjoy helping people with their financial needs, being a part of the community, and helping those less fortunate.”
Schueller’s special interests outside of work include volunteering and assisting the homeless and those with addiction problems. A long list of hobbies includes crafting, cooking, baking, gardening, hiking, fishing, camping, spending time with family, and successfully marketing her partner’s downtown bicycle shop.
