Prevail Bank in Eau Claire matched up to $1,000 of toys and clothes donated by the public; Prevail Bank purchased and wrapped 30 of the 75 gifts donated to the Christmas is for Children program.
Prevail Bank recognizes the importance of local organizations and the resources they provide for those less fortunate in the communities of central Wisconsin. This holiday season, the Eau Claire branch of Prevail Bank chose the Christmas is for Children program as the beneficiary of its Holiday Matching Funds campaign. Christmas is for Children is a non-profit, nondenominational organization dedicated to providing under-privileged children toys, clothing, and supplies they need for a happy holiday.
The other eight branches of Prevail Bank collected funds for various nonprofits through Friday, December 17. Prevail Bank has matched up to $1,000 at each branch. Those nonprofits are: Sauk County Children’s Giving Tree, Ronald McDonald House Charities (Marshfield), Taylor County Supportive Housings (homeless shelter), W-O-W Kid’s Meals Program, Santa’s Elves Foundation, United Way of Portage County, Catholic Charities Wausau Community Warming Center (homeless shelter), and Park Place Adult Day Services.
