Taylor County Supportive Housing Inc., a homeless shelter in Medford, received $5,000 from Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions Program. These funds will support the facility, services, and programming provided; helping homeless individuals and families become self-dependent and stable with permanent housing.
“We are proud to support Taylor County Supportive Housing and the individuals and families of Taylor County,” said Kori Miller, Prevail Bank branch manager – Medford. “We’re a community bank that is passionate about economic development, financial stability, and the health, welfare, and growth of individuals, families, and businesses.”
“We provide shelter, food, support, and solutions that address homelessness and the lack of housing in Taylor County,” said Jessica Mudgett, Board president for Taylor County Supportive Housing. “It is our goal to transition those who fell on hard-times to a stable, self-sustaining, and independent lifestyle. Prevail Bank’s $5,000 donation will assist numerous individuals and families.”
The shelter, appropriately named Taylor House, opened in April; it has never been empty. The home can sleep up to 17 people with space to add more beds. Clients can stay for up to 90 days.
