Prevail Bank: Prevail Bank Donates $2,500 to Free Clinic in Wausau
A donation of $2,500 was made by Prevail Bank to the First Presbyterian Church of Wausau to purchase medical supplies for its Free Clinic that is led and operated by a volunteer medical team. The Church’s/Clinic’s mission is to provide urgent and ongoing high quality medical care to all low income and medically uninsured persons without charge. The Clinic recently relocated to the Community Partners Campus (360 Grand Avenue) in Wausau and employs only one individual, a full-time coordinator.
Medical professionals present during the check presentation were (left to right) Bill Seidl, PA-C; Jeff Oswald, MD; Wendy Olson, RN; Jeff Todd, MS; and Kim Shibilski, EMT-P. Stacy Schoepke, Prevail Bank Relationship Banker and Luke Champine, Prevail Bank Branch Manager (pictured on the far right) presented the big check.
The monetary gift was part of Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions program. Non-profits that assist low-to-moderate income households, those that stimulate communities financially, provide financial literacy, and/or enhance the standard of living of those less fortunate in the communities Prevail Bank serves, were encouraged to apply. This Fall, Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions Committee approved the disbursement of $93,650 between 18 nonprofits.
