Prevail Bank Shred Event Helps Ensure Every Child Has Healthier Future With $1,105 Donation
Turning paper into something powerful, Prevail Bank’s Community Shred Day in Marshfield raised $1,105 for the Children’s Miracle Network, helping to make sure every child receives the best possible medical care in the area.
Prevail Bank pledged to donate $1 for every pound of paper shredded, up to $1,000—and the community rose to the challenge, bringing 1,968 pounds of documents to be safely destroyed and recycled. True to its pledge, Prevail Bank gifted $1,000; the public donated an additional $105.
A special check presentation was held at Prevail Bank’s Marshfield branch. Taylor Hahn (far left) Children’s Miracle Network Hospital’s Program Manager, accepted the donation from Prevail Bank professionals Tammy Schueller, Branch Manager; Ben Hertel, VP; Commercial/Agricultural Lending Officer; and Lana Peterson, AVP; Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS# 1236394).
“This event was a win-win,” said Schueller. “We helped people protect their personal information while supporting a cause that makes a real difference right here in our community.”
This year, Prevail Bank’s nine Community Shred Day events collected and shredded nearly 9 tons of paper, resulting in $11,387 in donations to nine nonprofits.
Prevail Bank continues to seek meaningful ways to give back and strengthen the communities it serves. From fundraising events to volunteer efforts, the bank remains committed to making central Wisconsin a better place to live, work, and thrive.
