SNBT Celebrates Power of CommUNITY
During the month of April, The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) joined hundreds of banks across the state for the Power of CommUNITY campaign sponsored by the Wisconsin Bankers Association. This program brings the Wisconsin banking industry together to show its collective impact and to celebrate its commitment to the community.
This year, the bank approached the Power of CommUNITY event a little differently than years past. Rather than supporting various organizations, SNBT focused its efforts on one non-profit that bank employees believed could benefit greatly. As such, SNBT selected the Altrusa Hospitality House in Green Bay, WI, and from April 3–28, made it the bank’s mission to support them in various ways.
To achieve this, SNBT held donation drives at each office collecting toys, shower supplies, laundry and cleaning supplies, dental supplies, snacks, and socks. In addition, the staff at SNBT’s Green Bay office partnered with Chef Lukas Lipburger of Generations Markets to prepare and serve a meal for the guests who stay at the Altrusa House.
On May 3, SNBT proudly presented them with boxes of donations, handmade tie-blankets, painted rocks, and cards to give to future guests. It is truly inspiring to witness the impact we can make when we come together as a community to support those in need.
“Community support and participation are fundamental to the success and well-being of the communities we serve. At SNBT, we believe in the power of community, and we are committed to doing our part to help enhance and uplift the areas in which we live and work,” said Dan Peterson, president & CEO.
