SNBT Launches Drive as Part of Power of Community Initiative

The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) is proud to announce its participation in the Power of CommUNITY campaign, sponsored by the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA), throughout the month of April. This initiative includes hundreds of banks across Wisconsin coming together to showcase the banking industry’s collective impact and unwavering commitment to the communities they serve.

The Power of CommUNITY campaign aims to highlight the enduring tradition of local hometown community banking. It encourages consumers, small business owners, farmers, and community leaders to explore the vital relationships community banks foster within their neighborhoods. These banks are not just financial institutions; they are integral parts of the communities, supporting families and livelihoods.

Rose Oswald Poels, President and CEO of the Wisconsin Bankers Association, emphasized the significance of this campaign, saying, “Power of CommUNITY highlights the collective impact of Wisconsin’s banking industry. Bank employees tailor their efforts to the individual needs of their areas — from giving financial literacy presentations in local schools, to hosting food drives, to volunteering — it shows how passionate they are.”

In alignment with this campaign, all SNBT offices are currently hosting a drive to collect essential items for donation to the Marinette, Menominee, and Oconto County Department of Human Services (DHS) offices. These donations will directly benefit local families in need, providing them with cleaning and hygiene products to enhance their daily lives.

All SNBT offices are currently accepting donations, including bar soap, dish soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, garbage bags, laundry detergent, and disinfecting wipes. The community is invited to join in this spirit of giving and share their generosity with those who need it most. Donations can be dropped off at any SNBT office until April 30, 2025.

Greg Salmen, President & CEO of SNBT, expressed his enthusiasm for the campaign, “At SNBT, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting our neighbors. We are deeply committed to making a positive impact in the lives of local families and invite everyone to join us in this effort. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.”

The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) is a 150-year-old independent, employee-owned, community bank with almost $1.8 billion in Bank, Mortgage, and Wealth assets under management. Offices are located in Marinette, Wausaukee, Crivitz, Pembine, and Oconto, Wis. and Menominee, Mich. with a Trust & Investment Office in Marquette, Mich. and a Commercial Loan Services Office in Green Bay, Wis.
