SNBT Supports Area Youth Organizations through Hometown Giving Back Program
The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) continued to use a simple checking account as a powerful force for good with its “Hometown Giving Back” initiative. By linking donations to the total deposits in Hometown Checking accounts, SNBT empowers customers to support local youth effortlessly. Since the program began in 2020, we have given a total of $43,387.07 to area youth programs. In 2024, this initiative enabled SNBT to distribute an impressive $7,820.27 equally among five local youth programs: The Greater Marinette-Menominee YMCA, Crivitz Youth, Inc., Pembine Area Christians Youth Center, the DAR Boys & Girls Club of Marinette and Menominee, and De Pere Hockey.
“The Hometown Giving Back program truly embodies our commitment to the community. These donations are crucial in supporting local youth, offering them the essential resources and opportunities they need,” said SNBT President & CEO, Greg Salmen.
Salmen further added, “For every dollar held in a Hometown Checking Account as of November 30, 2024, SNBT donated 0.25% of the bank’s own funds. As account balances grew, so did our contributions, showcasing our dedication to giving back on behalf of our customers.”
