SNBT Welcomes New SVP

Aron McDonald has joined The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) as senior vice president – head of wealth management. McDonald brings over 28 years of experience in the Wealth Management industry, where he has established a successful career providing sound financial advice and exceptional service to clients.

McDonald will oversee all aspects of SNBT’s Investment Management and Trust services. He will be responsible for guiding the overall business strategy and selection of industry-leading partners with a focus on delivering world-class Wealth Management solutions for clients. He will also work with clients to help them navigate the various stages of wealth, from accumulation to distribution, with creative solutions and portfolio strategies.

Prior to joining SNBT, McDonald served as a private wealth advisor and most recently, the SVP/managing director of wealth management Services for Busey Bank in Peoria, Ill., where he also served as a member of their investment team.

McDonald is a graduate of Millikin University with a B.S. in Finance. He also graduated from the Cannon Financial Institute Trust Schools, Cannon Financial Institute Comprehensive Wealth Management School, and ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), and an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®).
