WBA formally installed its 2026-2027 Board of Directors during a ceremony held June 10 at the Association’s office in Madison. Members of the Board were present in person, while WBA staff gathered to watch the proceedings, which were also livestreamed to a virtual audience.
Leading the organization for the coming term is Chair Joe Peikert, CEO of Wolf River Community Bank in Hortonville. Joining him in executive leadership roles are Chair-Elect Greg Lundberg, president and CEO of Fortifi Bank in Berlin; Vice Chair Shay Horton, president and CEO of Cumberland Federal Bank; and Past Chair Alvaro (Al) Araque, SVP director of consumer, private & business banking at Johnson Financial Group in Racine.
The installation ceremony also marked the addition of three new members to the Board, each beginning a three-year term. These include Scott M. Cattanach, president and CEO of Peoples State Bank in Wausau; Mark Oldenberg, president and CEO of Security Financial Bank in Durand; and Kevin Ravenscroft, president and CEO of The Peoples Community Bank in Mazomanie. They join a strong group of returning directors who continue to represent financial institutions across the state. Those continuing their terms include:

Following the ceremony, Peikert took time to connect with WBA staff, walking through the office alongside his wife, Kim, to introduce himself and engage with team members.
The event highlighted both continuity and new leadership within the Association, reflecting WBA’s ongoing commitment to representing and supporting Wisconsin’s banking industry.
