The Bank of New Glarus Announces Recent Promotions

The Bank of New Glarus is excited to announce the promotions of Julie Flannery to vice president of compliance and Karen Rivera to loan operations manager.

“Having Julie move into the compliance role is an excellent move for the bank as a whole”, said Ron Schaaf, president of The Bank of New Glarus.

In her new role, Flannery, with over 20 years of banking experience, will oversee many different components of compliance from loans and new accounts to advertising. “Having worn many hats in the banking industry, I’m excited to tackle this new role using all the information I’ve learned over the years,” said Flannery.

“Karen’s expertise with loans and loan operations is key to keeping both departments up-todate and seamless,” added Schaaf. “She brings knowledge and enthusiasm to an important role here at the bank.”

In her new role, Rivera, a New Glarus native with over ten years of banking experience, will play a crucial role in managing loan processing and operation teams at The Bank of New Glarus.

“I’m excited to grow here with The Bank of New Glarus,” Rivera said. “Part of that is using my experience to help others grow in their careers as well. I’m looking forward to watching that take shape.”
