Thesing Named Chief Credit Officer at Bluff View Bank

Bluff View Bank is proud to announce the hiring of Joe Thesing as chief credit officer and commercial loan officer.
Thesing will be responsible for overseeing the lending operations and credit performance of bank, as well as its lending team and loan portfolio. He will also be involved in cultivating current and new business and community relationships in the bank’s markets.
“I’m looking forward to working with our new and existing clients and to help them meet their financial needs.” said Thesing.
Thesing comes to Bluff View with experience in commercial lending, portfolio management, and business development. He previously served as market president for 9 years for Home Federal Bank in La Crescent and Winona and before that, spent 27 years in various functions at Merchants Bank.
Thesing currently serves as president of the Board of Directors of AcenTek, as well as board member for the La Crosse Rotary Lights, and the Houston County EDA Board. He is also a retired volunteer fireman and EMT.
