Unity Bank: Celebrating Our 2025 Bankers of the Year

At Unity Bank, we believe that banking is about more than transactions, it’s about people. Every day, our team members go above and beyond to build relationships, strengthen neighborhoods, and create opportunities for the communities we proudly serve.

That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce our 2025 Bankers of the Year – four remarkable individuals who embody our values and remind us what it means to lead with heart.

Collaboration: Madison Rickbeil
Madison Rickbeil, Regional Branch Manager of Motley, Staples, and Clarissa, brings people together. She’s the first to raise her hand, share her knowledge, and create space for ideas to grow. Her collaboration has transformed everyday meetings into moments of meaningful connection, and her commitment to teamwork is contagious.

Customer Service: Dexeray Huth
Serving our Neillsville, WI community, Dexeray proves that a kind word and a little extra effort can go a long way. Whether she’s helping someone navigate a tough time or simply making sure a client fees seen and heard, Dexeray brings genuine care to every interaction. She reminds us that behind every account is a story, and she treats each one with the respect it deserves.

Innovator: Missy Gunderson
Missy Gunderson, our Operations Improvement Partner, tackled a major records cleanup that save the bank time, money, and headaches, but her impact runs deeper than that. She sees possibility in every problem and pushes for smarter, simpler ways to serve. Missy brings fresh thinking, grit, and a whole lot of heart to everything she does.

Leadership: Malissa Grant
As our Compliance Officer, Malissa has reimagined what leadership looks like. Her team feels seen, supported, and empowered to do their best work. – because she leads with integrity and builds trust every step of the way. Under her leadership, the Compliance Department has been restructured to exceed regulatory and audit expectations. We thank Malissa for her leadership that has transformed Unity Bank’s compliance function to be a pilar of strength.

These four individuals remind us that community banking isn’t about being the biggest, it’s about showing up, doing the right thing, and caring deeply for the people around us.

About Unity Bank: Unity Bank is a family-owned community bank with a 140-year legacy of service. With 15 locations across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Montana, we’re proud to meet the financial needs of our neighbors while investing in what matters most: relationships, trust, and the shared success of our communities.
