Unity Bank Secures $15,000 Grant for Outlaw Farms through FHLBank Chicago
Unity Bank, a local community bank with 16 locations across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Montana is excited to announce Outlaw Farms of Fall Creek, Wisconsin as recipient of Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s Community First Accelerate Grant for Small Businesses.
As a proud member institution of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago), Unity Bank had the honor of nominating two Wisconsin small business clients for the FHLBank Chicago Community First Accelerate Grant. Outlaw Farms, one of the selected businesses, was awarded a $15,000 grant to support its ongoing growth and contributions to the community.
Outlaw Farms was founded in 2011 by Ashley and Josh Schulner, who turned a small pumpkin patch into a unique farm experience. Growing up surrounded by animals, the Schulners saw an opportunity to educate and engage the local community. Today, Outlaw Farms is home to over 30 animal species, creating a welcoming environment where visitors can enjoy diverse animals and the peaceful countryside.
With the support of the FHLBank Chicago grant, Outlaw Farms will expand its offerings with new structures and exhibits to house additional animals. These improvements will enable the farm to host more community events and special occasions, enriching the visitor experience and supporting economic growth in the Fall Creek area.
Unity Bank extends its gratitude to FHLBank Chicago for their commitment to supporting local small businesses. This grant will make a lasting impact on Outlaw Farms and the entire Fall Creek community, furthering opportunities for education, connection, and economic vitality.
