Venable Receives WNB Financial Community PRIDE Award
WNB Financial is pleased to announce Executive Assistant Tara Venable as the recipient of its 2023 first quarter Community PRIDE Award.
Community PRIDE Awards recognize WNB employees for exceptional volunteer service to programs, organizations, and initiatives that contribute to the strength and vitality of the communities served. This includes volunteering efforts made during and outside of work hours.
Venable volunteers her time in local classrooms through Junior Achievement of Winona and is a meal delivery driver for the Winona Volunteer Services Home Delivered Meals program. She’s also a long-time member of the Winona Rotary Club, assisting with the annual Dictionary Program, Feed My Starving Children Meal-Packing Event, and Ride the Ridges Bike Tour Fundraiser.
As a Community PRIDE Award recipient, Venable received $100 to donate to the organization of her choice, which she chose to donate to the Winona Rotary Club. In addition, she received a certificate of recognition and a bank logo shirt.
In 2022, 69 WNB Financial employees donated 2,069 hours of service to 119 local organizations. WNB gifted over $419,000 to the community in the areas of education and youth programs, community service, economic development, health and wellness, and fine arts and culture.
