Waukesha State Bank Names Steve Heberer Controller

Waukesha State Bank, a 14-branch independent community bank in Waukesha County, has hired Steve Heberer as controller.
“Steve’s strong financial auditing and accounting experience makes him uniquely qualified to build on our foundation of success, and we are proud to welcome him to the Waukesha State Bank team,” stated Ann Pascavis, Waukesha State Bank senior vice president – chief financial officer.
Heberer, a Certified Public Accountant, brings 12 years of accounting and auditing experience and holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Most recently, he served as audit manager at Wipfli, where he led audit engagements with financial institutions.
In his new role as controller for Waukesha State Bank, Heberer will direct the staff and operations of the finance department, including overseeing the analysis of the bank’s financial information.
