Waukesha State Bank Promotes Grulke & Flood

Waukesha State Bank, a 14 branch independent community bank in Waukesha County, is proud to announce the promotions of commercial bankers Mitch Grulke and Dan Flood to assistant vice presidents. In their new roles, they will continue to be responsible for prospecting, developing, and managing commercial loan portfolios.

“These promotions are well deserved and reflective of Mitch and Dan’s contributions to the community and Waukesha State Bank’s success,” stated Tony Laszewski, Waukesha State Bank senior vice president – commercial banking officer.

Mitch Grulke

Mitch Grulke holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and started his career with Waukesha State Bank in 2009 as a teller. He held varying positions on the retail side of the bank including teller supervisor, personal banker, and bank manager before transitioning to the commercial banking department as a commercial workout specialist in 2016. He was promoted to commercial portfolio manager in 2017 and to commercial banker in 2019. Grulke is active in the community serving as a member of the North Prairie Lions Club and on the Waukesha County Technical College’s Business Management Advisory Committee.

Dan Flood

Dan Flood joined the Waukesha State Bank team in 2017 as a credit analyst/portfolio manager in the commercial banking department and was promoted to commercial banker in 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree in both finance and economics from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is active in the community serving on the board of directors for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha Foundation.
