Waukesha State Bank, a leading independent community bank with 14 branches across Waukesha County, is proud to announce the promotion of Tyler Kern to vice president – investment officer.

Tyler Kern joined Waukesha State Bank in 2018 as a commercial banking credit analyst/portfolio manager. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance, investment and banking, and risk management and insurance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Since then, Tyler has steadily advanced, becoming investment officer in December 2021 and assistant vice president – investment officer in August 2022.
In his new role as vice president – investment officer, Tyler will continue to oversee the bank’s investment portfolio, managing its liquidity and sensitivity to interest rate and market risks. His expertise will play a key role in supporting the bank’s financial health and long-term success.
