Waumandee State Bank: Mondovi Chiropractors Receive Federal Home Loan Bank Community First® Accelerate Grant Through Partnership with Waumandee State Bank

Recently, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago) awarded Jurgensen Chiropractic of Mondovi Inc. (d/b/a Mondovi Chiropractic) a grant of $15,000 through their partnership with Waumandee State Bank. FHLBank Chicago offers grants of up to $30,000 to eligible small businesses as part of its Community First® Accelerate program. Grants from this program help small businesses throughout Illinois and Wisconsin grow and advance their economic opportunities.
Jurgensen Chiropractic of Mondovi Inc. (d/b/a Mondovi Chiropractic) provides chiropractic services to the greater Mondovi area and is run by the husband-and-wife team of Andrea and Jake Jurgensen. In addition to providing the spine and extremity manipulation typical of chiropractic offices, they also provide rehabilitative exercise and Department of Transportation physicals to patients.
Co-owner and chiropractor Jake Jurgensen stated these grant funds will be used to purchase new adjustment tables.
“We have been wanting to replace some of our current tables for a while to help better serve outpatients in our community. A newer table would mean improved comfort and more treatment options for our patients,” said Jurgensen.
Waumandee State Bank President Todd Pronschinske explained that the FHLB grant program is an excellent way for the bank to give back. By giving local customers funds to better their business, they can continue to grow and impact their communities in positive ways.
“We have been using Waumandee State Bank for our personal and business banking needs since we came into Mondovi, and they have been extremely helpful working with us throughout the years,” Jurgensen said.

Since 2022, Waumandee State Bank has helped five different local businesses successfully apply for Community First Accelerate grants, resulting in a total of over $100,000 in grant funding awarded to recipients.
