WBA Commercial Lending School

The WBA Commercial Lending School will be held October 8-10, 2024 at the Wisconsin Bankers Association office in Madison. Classes will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday and conclude at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday.

This school was developed as an advanced-level program, assuming participants have work experience and prior training in commercial lending and/or financial statement analysis. Case studies, in-class work, instructor-led discussions and facilitation are all elements of this school with an emphasis on cash flow, financial analysis, and structure. • Risk Concepts
• Advanced Concepts in Analyzing Financial Statements
• Loan Structure & Support
• Responsible CRE Lending
• Effective Relationship Management
• Projecting Future Performance
• Establishing Credit Discipline
• Identifying and Managing Problem Loans

The WBA Commercial Lending School will use the nationally recognized curriculum developed and maintained by John R. Barrickman, president, New Horizons Financial Group.

What to Bring:
Each attendee will need to bring a laptop or tablet with access to Microsoft Excel to use throughout the school to follow along with the electronic-formatted course materials, as well as case study work.

School Requirements:
Successful completion of the school will be based on class attendance and participation in group case study work and group discussions.

Registration Information:
The student fee of $895 includes program registration and instruction, electronic materials delivered via email a few days prior to the school, daily lunch buffets and refreshment breaks.

PRINTED MATERIALS OPTION: If you prefer to have printed materials provided with your school registration, there is a fee of $100.00 for the printed materials that will be added to your registration. Registrants wishing to purchase the printed materials need to be registered by September 16, 2024.

Refund Policy:
A refund, less a $150 administrative fee, is provided for written cancellations received by WBA on or before Wednesday, October 4, 2023. All requests for cancellations or substitute registrations must be provided in writing to WBA Education.
