Honoring Wisconsin Bankers for a Lifetime of Service to the Industry
Each year, WBA presents awards recognizing bankers for their long service to our industry and their community.
The 50- and 60-Year Clubs recognize bankers who have served in the banking industry for 50 and 60 years, respectively. These awards are typically presented during a special luncheon in conjunction with the WBA Bank Executives Conference. The next conference will take place February 5–7, 2025, at the Pfister in Milwaukee. Awards will be presented during the lunch program on Thursday, February 6. If you are interested in celebrating this milestone achievement at the conference, please submit a nomination form by Friday, December 6, 2024.
The Lifetime Service Awards recognize bankers who have served in the industry for 30 and 40 years. These awards will be presented during a dinner program on Monday, September 23, 2024, during the WBA Management Conference (September 23–24, 2024) or during a separate ceremony, as requested. If you are interested in celebrating this milestone achievement at the conference, please submit a nomination form by Friday, August 23, 2024.
If your bank has individuals who should be recognized, please nominate them by completing the form below. If the individual is unable to attend the appropriate event above, WBA staff will work with you to plan an event at your bank. WBA accepts service recognition award nominations throughout the year!
Eligibility Rules
50- and 60-Year Club Membership
Any Wisconsin banker who is an active or retired officer, director, or employee and has completed 50-59 or 60-plus years of service. (U.S. Military service counts in the 50-year/60-year span if the proposed recipient was in banking both before and after time spent in the military.) Bankers enrolled in past WBA 50-Year Clubs are not eligible to be honored again in that specific award category, but may make an application to be honored at 60 or 70 years of service to the financial services industry. Before nominating an individual, we strongly suggest that you check with the person or your institution’s records to confirm dates of service as well as to determine if they have received the honor in a previous year.
Lifetime Service Awards
Any Wisconsin banker who is an active or retired officer, director, or employee and has completed 30-39 or 40-49 years of service. (U.S. Military service counts in the 30-year/40-year span if the proposed recipient was in banking both before and after time spent in the military.) Bankers honored for a particular Lifetime Service Award are not eligible to be honored again in that specific award category, but may make an application to be honored at 50 years of service to the financial services industry. Before nominating an individual, we strongly suggest that you check with the person or your institution’s records to confirm dates of service as well as to determine if they have received the honor in a previous year.
