Executive Letter: A New Year Means a New WBA Initiative – WBA Member Data Clean Up
By Rose Oswald Poels
A new year often brings on new initiatives and goals. This is certainly true for me personally. And for WBA, 2025 is a time for member data clean up. My hope is that WBA has the most up-to-date information for each member to ensure high standards of communication with the membership. Similar to your own data integrity desires for your organizations, my goal through this initiative is to remove outdated data and duplicates from WBA membership data.
I will do my best to be as efficient as possible in this effort. For those members who have staff participating as part of a WBA Committee or Section, the WBA staff liaison for the Committee/Section will reach out to your staff participant. For other members, WBA staff will reach out to the bank president.
Over the next several weeks, I have requested members of the WBA staff to reach out and to share with each member an Excel list of staff that WBA currently has on record for your bank. My ask is for you to please review our list and let us know who is no longer at the bank. For those staff currently with the bank, please send any updated information you wish for WBA to have. If it is easier to send WBA a current employee list, WBA staff can compare the list to our database. Also, if there are key contacts at the bank that are not on our list, please let us know and we can be sure they are added to our database for the bank.
Several members have recently already shared updated data, which I greatly appreciate. You will not receive an inquiry from WBA staff given the recent update of your data.
If you have further questions regarding this initiative, please feel free to reach out to WBA’s VP – Legal and Communications Heather MacKinnon, at (608) 441-1263 or hmackinnon@wisbank.com and Executive Assistant Angie Swanson, at (608) 441-1253 or aswanson@wisbank.com. If it is easier, you can also send either of them your current employee list and they will compare the list to the WBA database for you.
Wishing you the best in 2025 and thanking you in advance for helping with WBA’s initiative.
