Mound City Bank Welcomes Sara Jacobson as Vice President – Chief Financial Officer

Mound City Bank is pleased to announce that Sara Jacobson has joined the organization as Vice President – Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Sara will support the bank’s financial leadership and help advance its continued commitment to strong community banking.

Sara began her career with Mound City Bank in 2006 through its Youth Apprenticeship Program while attending high school. She continued with the bank as a Customer Service Representative throughout college, gaining valuable experience and building a strong foundation in banking and customer service. Sara earned degrees in Accounting and Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville and is a Certified Public Accountant. Since then, she has built an extensive career in audit, financial leadership, and banking. Sara is excited to return to Mound City Bank and bring the knowledge she has gained back to the organization where she first began her banking career. She has a deep appreciation for Mound City Bank and its longstanding commitment to customers, employees, and the communities it serves.

Sara looks forward to using her experience and passion for banking to support Mound City Bank’s customers and communities, help carry forward the bank’s strong tradition of community banking, and contribute to the continued success of the organization.
