Farmers & Merchants Union Bank Celebrates Employee Milestones

Farmers & Merchants Union Bank recognized several employees for their years of dedicated service during a special celebration on July 31, 2026. WBA President and CEO Rose Oswald Poels was pleased to be on-site to personally present plaques honoring these significant career milestones.

Heidi Elgersma was the only employee honored for her retirement, following an impressive 37-year career in banking. The remaining honorees were recognized for their years of service and longstanding contributions to both American Bank and Farmers & Merchants Union Bank. Their service anniversaries had not previously been recognized in available records, and they wanted to ensure they received the acknowledgment they have earned through decades of dedication.
