Jerry Schmidt Honored with WBA Lifetime Service Award

WBA President and CEO Rose Oswald Poels presented the WBA Lifetime Service Award to SNBT’s Jerry Schmidt.

Jerry Schmidt retired from the Board of Directors at The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) after a long, and successful career of helping generations of families in the Wausaukee and Crivitz area. He began his banking career in 1974 when he was approached by the president of the bank in Wausaukee. At the time, he figured he would try it for a couple years, which turned into 50. He was part of the successful merger of SNBT and Bank North ten years ago.

At a small ceremony on August 20, 2024, Schmidt commended the board and management of SNBT saying they do a great job running the bank and the key to that success is “they are looking through the windshield, not the rearview mirror.”

WBA President and CEO Rose Oswald Poels was on hand to present Schmidt with a WBA Lifetime Service Award.
