Mound City Bank Names Phillips as President
Michael J. Phillips
Mound City Bank recently announced that Michael J. Phillips will succeed Donna Hoppenjan as the bank’s next president. Hoppenjan has been with Mound City Bank for 47 years and has served as the bank’s president & CEO since 2013.
Phillips’ appointment became effective September 9, 2024. Hoppenjan will continue serving as CEO until her planned retirement on December 31, 2025. Following her retirement, Phillips will take on the role of CEO starting January 1, 2026 in addition to his current position as president.
