The Bank of Deerfield recently broke ground on a new building. Their 45-year-old main branch located at 15 S. Main St in Deerfield was totally demolished to clear the way for a new, larger building. The new project which is slated to be completed in the spring of 2025, will nearly double the square footage of the original building. This larger space will include two stories in addition to a basement with partial exposure which can be used for future expansion. Currently the bank is renting a space across the parking lot from the building site which provides all of the essential workspaces for staff and customers. The only thing missing is a drive-thru, but that is available at the bank’s other location at 867 Shaul Lane in Deerfield.
Bank of Deerfield President & CEO Darren Winkler shared, “I’m very pleased to see how positive and supportive the Deerfield community has been about our construction project and expansion.”
WBA Executive Vice President & Chief of Staff Daryll Lund attended the groundbreaking ceremony on July 11.
