Bank First Announces the Promotion of Several Key Members of Its Team

Bank First is pleased to announce the promotions of Debbie Weyker, Matt Longmeyer, and Greg Berken, reflecting their exceptional contributions and leadership within the Bank.

Debbie Weyker

Debbie Weyker has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Marketing. Debbie began her career with Bank First in 2006 and oversees all marketing department functions, including brand management and community engagement. She is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that enhance the Bank’s brand presence and drive customer engagement. In addition, Debbie plays a crucial role in fostering relationships within the communities Bank First serves, leading the Bank’s involvement in sponsorships, events, and other initiatives that support local causes and strengthen community ties. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Marketing from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc. Debbie serves as a volunteer, mentor, and member of the External Affairs Committee for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Shoreline Chapter. Additionally, she is a member of the American Marketing Association Northeast Wisconsin Chapter, 100+ Women Who Care Manitowoc County, and the Manitowoc County Kennel Club.

Matt Longmeyer

Matt Longmeyer has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Technology Director. Matt’s journey with Bank First started in 2013 as an Information Technology Intern, where he quickly demonstrated his technical acumen and leadership potential. After joining the Bank full-time in 2014 as an Information Technology Specialist, Matt’s contributions led to his promotion to Information Technology Officer in 2017 and later to Vice President – Director of Technology in 2021. Throughout his career at Bank First, Matt has consistently delivered exceptional results, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the Bank’s technological capabilities and the overall security of the Bank’s systems. Matt will continue to lead all facets of Information Technology, Business Systems, Digital Transformation, and Cybersecurity. He collaborates closely with departments across Bank First to drive the implementation of innovative technologies that align with the Bank’s strategic goals, fostering both innovation and growth. Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration in IT Management, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity, all from UW – Whitewater. Additionally, he graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at UW – Madison, where he earned a Certificate of Executive Leadership. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Matt is also committed to his community and serves on the Manitowoc Public School District Foundation Board.

Greg Berken

Greg Berken has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Finance. Greg joined Bank First in 2011 as an Internal Auditor, transitioning to the finance department soon after, where he quickly established himself as a key contributor. Over the years, he has taken on various roles, including Senior Accounting Financial Analyst and, most recently, Vice President – Controller, where he played an integral part in managing the Bank’s financial operations with precision and expertise. Greg oversees the day-to-day financial health of the Bank, ensuring financial practices and policies align with the Bank’s goals and regulatory requirements. His deep understanding of financial management and commitment to excellence have been invaluable in driving the Bank’s fiscal success. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science from UW – Milwaukee, where he double-majored in Accounting and Finance. Greg furthered his education with a Master of Business Administration from Lakeland University and earned his CPA license in 2018. Additionally, he graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at UW – Madison in 2023, where he earned a Certificate of Executive Leadership. In addition to his professional achievements, he is an active member of the community and serves as Treasurer of the Little Chute Jaycees.
