New opportunity for C-Suite bankers to enhance leadership and grow network
The Society of Bank Executives — an initiative brought forth by the Utah Bankers Association and partnered with WBA and several banking trade associations across the country — is now accepting applications for the pre-launch session and annual membership.
The Society, structured with bank executive teams in mind, aims to provide bank leaders with opportunities to network and further develop the skills necessary for staying ahead of our ever-changing industry. Executive teams seeking to acquire and develop soft skills, master the “art” of leading a bank, and work alongside bankers from across the country will greatly benefit from this new program.
During the two, four-month sessions held each year, bankers will have access to online presentations, virtual meetings, and in-person networking events. Programming is developed to be flexible for each individual, meaning even those with less time to commit are able to work at their own pace.
Members of the newly created Society of Bank Executives include C-suite bankers from across the U.S., and Wisconsin bankers are highly encouraged to take part in the pre-launch session occurring this August. To apply for this unique opportunity to serve as a founding member of the Society, gain knowledge on the topics of trust and team building, or learn more about what the Society has to offer for bank leaders, visit executives.bank/home before July 30, 2022.
As the banking landscape continues to rapidly evolve, WBA encourages bank leaders to invest not only in their personal and professional development, but in opportunities to engage with peers
outside of their own markets. Currently, the Society represents bankers from over 15 states.
If you have questions regarding your bank’s involvement in the Society, please contact WBA President and CEO Rose Oswald Poels.
