Bank Five Nine is pleased to sponsor Journey21’s first annual dinner gala with a $1,000 donation. The Don’t Stop Believin’ Gala will be held on October 3rd at The Valerie in Oconomowoc.

Journey21 was founded three years ago by two parents who thought similarly about the needs of their sons, who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. With their eyes fixed on the future, they set out to realize their dream and, along the way, inspired over 200+ families to join them. Located in Oconomowoc, Journey21 operates primarily from its 10,000-square-foot Enrichment Center, where 90 programs and outings are offered each quarter.

“Journey21 was founded on the belief that community creates opportunities. It is clear that Bank Five Nine shares that belief. Their investment humbles us, and we are committed to using the funds entrusted to us to strengthen the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With over 60 community supporters, including businesses, nonprofits, and schools, we know we cannot do this alone, and we thank Bank Five Nine for their gift and affirmation,” said Mike Brauer, Executive Director at Journey21, Inc.

“When we arrived at Journey21’s Enrichment Center, we first felt kindness. Not only is it a beautiful facility, but it was built to make learning and instruction comfortable for the students and the instructors. We saw first-hand the positive difference everyone at Journey21 is making at the center and in their community. We are happy to donate to a non-profit truly ‘Making Lives Better,’” said Tim Schneider, CEO and President at Bank Five Nine.
