Bank Five Nine Sponsors Lead2Change’s Black & Brown Run Around
With a donation of $1,000, Bank Five Nine is excited to sponsor the Black & Brown Run Around 5k on Saturday, September 14 with Lead2Change that will take place at Veteran’s Park in Milwaukee.
“We are so grateful for Bank Five Nine and their continued support of the 2nd annual Black and Brown Run Around 5k which benefits Lead2Change’s youth career-readiness programming. Their donation will go a long way in equipping our young people with the essential tools to be successful in college, their career, and community,” said Eleazar Lopez Jr., Co-founder of Black and Brown Run Around 5k and Financial Advisor.
The Black & Brown Run Around 5k is a diverse group committed to educating and empowering others while striving to overcome obstacles. Their goal is to organize an event in the Milwaukee area that fosters unity within the black and brown communities, uplifts minority-owned businesses, and supports a charity that shares a mission of ensuring security and stability for all. They were pleased to team up with Lead2Change, a leading career-readiness organization, that engages young people in leadership opportunities and equips them with essential tools to be successful in college, their careers, and the community.
“Lead2Change and the Black & Brown Run Around 5k missions match our mission at Bank Five Nine, to Make Lives Better. We are happy to donate to these great organizations and support the 5k,” said Tim Schneider, CEO, and President at Bank Five Nine.
