Prevail Bank Donates $67,650

Photo with the big check.

Pictured are Stepping Stones’ Co-Directors, Courtney Scholl and Shanna Kestler (on far right). They accepted a $5,000 check to support their operations, community education, and crisis intervention/support services they provide to victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault, teen dating violence, stalking, and human trafficking in north central Wisconsin.

Prevail Bank gifted $67,650 through its semiannual Charitable Contributions program in April. Non-profits that assist low-to-moderate income households, those that stimulate communities financially, provide financial literacy, and/or enhance the standard of living of those less fortunate, in the communities Prevail Bank serves, were encouraged to apply.

Twenty (20) organizations received funding. They were: Companion Day Services (Marshfield), Feed My People (Eau Claire), First Presbyterian Church – Free Clinic (Wausau), Habitat for Humanity Wisconsin River Area – Home Repair Program (Baraboo), Medford VFW Post 5729 – Building Project, Pathway Home of South Central Wisconsin (formerly known as Baraboo Area Homeless Shelter), Logger’s United Booster Club, St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantries (Phillips), Stepping Stones (Medford), Taylor House Supportive Housing (Medford), Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Northcentral Area (Wausau), Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Portage & Wood Counties Area, United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties, Marshfield Area Community Foundation – Bream Park, Hmong American Center (Wausau), Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum (Stevens Point), Medford Area School District – Junior Achievement Programming, Town of Omega – Pioneer Park, Soup or Socks (Marshfield), and School District of Owen Withee – Youth Wrestling.
