Insight Publications honored the contributions of financial leaders in northeast Wisconsin at its first annual CFO of the Year Awards held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay on Tuesday, December 5. LeMahieu was one of 30 finalists from around the region who were recognized for their career achievements, commitment to growth, and innovative contributions.
LeMahieu joined Bank First in August 2014 as CFO. During his tenure, he has played an integral role in the growth and financial success of the bank. As a result of his efforts, Bank First has been recognized as one of the top-performing financial institutions in the United States and has received prestigious awards from respected publications such as Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Bank Director, S&P Global Market Intelligence, and Raymond James.
Embodying Bank First’s commitment to the communities it serves, LeMahieu is passionate about giving back through his involvement in numerous community organizations, most notably Dementia Innovations, an organization driven to make a difference in how those with dementia live. LeMahieu is currently assisting Dementia Innovations as a financial advisor as they prepare to build a village for persons with dementia in Sheboygan County. This village, intended to maximize the abilities of those living with dementia, will be the first of its kind in the United States.
“Kevin’s recognition is a source of immense pride for all of us here at Bank First,” stated Mike Molepske, CEO of Bank First. “His unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with his exemplary leadership and strategic financial expertise, serves as an embodiment of the values that define us as an organization.
