Olszewski Promoted at Community State Bank
Community State Bank (CSB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Katielynne Olszewski to compliance officer. Olszewski joined the bank in May of 2023 as a BSA analyst and valuable part of the compliance team.
“When we spot a chance to promote someone from our own team who’s a great match, we make it happen,” explained Scott Huedepohl, bank president and CEO. “Katielynne has the skills and determination to excel in this role. Plus, she really fits in with our bank’s culture. She’s eager to learn, wants to be involved in the community, and is a team player. That’s exactly what we need for success here. We’re thrilled to have her on our team.”
Bringing nearly a decade of banking experience to her new position, Olszewski has a solid background in mortgage underwriting, mortgage processing, compliance, and BSA related functions.
As compliance officer, Olszewski’s responsibilities include identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations, engaging with regulatory authorities, coordinating independent audits, and maintaining and enhancing the bank’s compliance programs.
Olszewski’s promotion took effect on March 19, 2024. She works alongside Seth Meyer, BSA officer, and reports to Bob Findysz, CSB’s executive vice president – chief financial officer.
“Katielynne has consistently demonstrated an exceptional work ethic, a willingness to assist others, and a high level of professionalism, particularly during bank audits,” said Findysz. “We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Katielynne on her well-deserved promotion.”
