Rand Receives WNB Financial Community PRIDE Award
WNB Financial is pleased to announce Christopher Rand, vice president & trust manager, as the recipient of its 2023 fourth quarter Community PRIDE Award.
Community PRIDE Awards recognize WNB employees for exceptional volunteer service to programs, organizations, and initiatives that contribute to the strength and vitality of the communities served. This includes volunteering efforts made during and outside of work hours. Rand is a board member and Finance Committee member for the Winona Family YMCA. He also serves the board of directors as treasurer for the Friends of the Winona Public Library. Rand has volunteered for the Feed My Starving Children meal-packing event through the Winona Rotary Club, the Swing Into Spring Stained Glass fundraiser through the Winona County Historical Society, and presented financial education at both Saint Mary’s University and Winona Senior High School.
As a Community PRIDE Award recipient, Rand received $100 to donate to local non-profit organizations of his choice, which he chose to donate to the Winona Family YMCA ($50) and the Friends of the Winona Public Library ($50). In addition, he received a certificate of recognition and a bank logo shirt.
In 2023, 59 WNB Financial employees donated 2,740 hours of service to 118 local organizations. WNB gifted over $405,000 to the community in the areas of education and youth programs, health and wellness, community service, fine arts and culture, and economic development.
