Bank Five Nine was happy to donate $1,000 to Oconomowoc Silver Streak.

Oconomowoc Silver Streak is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing transportation to ambulatory seniors age 60+ and ambulatory disabled adults in the city of Oconomowoc. Whether the destination is a life-sustaining treatment such as dialysis, a place of work, or a meeting with an old friend at the senior center, their riders feel lucky to have their autonomy intact because of Oconomowoc Silver Streak.

“The 33 years of service from the Oconomowoc Silver Streak is positively correlated with Bank Five Nine’s dedication and commitment to our community. After all, Bank Five Nine is one of the four founders of our small non-profit. The need for transportation in the community of Oconomowoc is still as prevalent today as it was in 1991 when we were founded. We could not provide rides to our demographic of senior citizens and disabled adults without their consistent support through these many years. Thank you, Bank Five Nine. Your level of support truly allows us to be a “lifeline to the community” for so many,” Mary Tylicki, Oconomowoc Silver Streak Board President.

The Baby Boomers are creating a population BOOM of seniors in Oconomowoc. Couple that with the addition of more housing options for adults with disabilities, the demand for Silver Streak has never been higher.

“Bank Five Nine loves supporting organizations that ‘Make Lives Better’. As Oconomowoc Silver Streak continues to navigate the rapid growth and need for their services we are pleased to donate to this wonderful lifeline in the community,” said Alissa Weber, Senior Marketing Representative.
