PWSB Welcomes Vice President – Director of Information Technology
Josh Nave was recently hired as vice president – director of information technology for Port Washington State Bank (PWSB). Nave joins PWSB with more than 20 years of experience in information technology (IT) within the banking industry where he previously managed vendor relationships, and supported strategic planning, project management and business continuity, and IT security.
In his role, Nave will recommend and implement innovative solutions as well as identify opportunities to leverage technology to promote high quality outcomes both internally and externally. Together with the broader IT department he will also help the organization achieve its operational goals.

In today’s banking industry, technology is at the core of what we do and how people bank,” explained James Schowalter, president and chief operating officer. “We are confident that Josh’s vast experience both in IT and in banking will position him to be a valuable part of the PWSB team,” Schowalter continued.
Nave received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. Nave also holds a Bank Technology Management Certificate from the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Graduate School of Banking and served on the Wisconsin Bankers Association Operations and Technology committee for four years.
